CIVL200: Engineering & Sustainable Development Design, development and implementation of a web-based course for UBC undergraduate civil engineers. ABEN299: Sustainable Development
was developed for, and is offered by, the School of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABEN) at Cornell University. It is modelled after other web-based sustainability courses we have designed but has agricultural and biological engineering concerns, and the Cornell University student audience, as its focus. The course is designed in a modular form such that a wider range of audiences may be served in the future.
EDUC819: Interpersonal Skills Training
This graduate-level course was one of the early distance education offerings at SFU. The course was delivered by mail and included both audio and video components. Knowledge and skills covered in the course included: reflective listening; values clarifying; empathy training; and promoting thinking. The course was designed and delivered using a team approach.
